Collaboration Networks for Megaprojects: The Case for Skyscrapers
نویسندگان
چکیده
This study aims to investigate the dynamics of project networks composed by megaprojects (i.e. skyscrapers) and their collaborations of stakeholders, and to analyze the influence attributed by past collaboration experience, locations, and roles of stakeholders. In particular, a dynamic network model that includes key project features and stakeholder characteristics was developed based on 43 completed skyscrapers taller than 300 meters in China. Based on the project network, the quantifiable network relationships, the dynamic evolution, and its influence by different geographic locations were analyzed. The findings suggest a growing trend of the collaboration and help AEC companies make better decisions in selecting future collaborators.

متن کاملPower plants as megaprojects: Using empirics to shape policy, planning, and construction management
Megaprojects are historically associated with poor delivery, both in terms of schedule and cost performance. Empirical research is required to determine which characteristics of megaprojects affect schedule and cost performance. Capital-intensive power plants can be understood as megaprojects and time delays and cost escalation during the construction phase can undermine their overall economic ...

Target Tracking Based on Virtual Grid in Wireless Sensor Networks
One of the most important and typical application of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is target tracking. Although target tracking, can provide benefits for large-scale WSNs and organize them into clusters but tracking a moving target in cluster-based WSNs suffers a boundary problem. The main goal of this paper was to introduce an efficient and novel mobility management protocol namely Target Tr...
